$9 MILLION INVESTMENT HELPS FARMERS TURN WASTE INTO CLEAN ENERGY

The Ontario Biogas Systems Financial Assistance Program is a $9 million investment that will help farmers and rural businesses develop systems that produce clean energy from farm wastes. "Developing renewable energy in the agri-food and rural sectors is an important part of the government's climate change initiative," says Leona Dombrowsky, Ontario's Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
